Two college students developed PeckApp to give users the power to digitally exchange social contact info. However, they were not well-versed in brand strategy and design. SWITCH helped tell their story and amplify their brand.
After a series of design thinking exercises via the SWITCH Brand Accelerator, we created a launch campaign to illustrate that initial encounters can unexpectedly grow into meaningful relationships. We developed a simple wordmark and evolved PeckApp’s abstract bird logo into a graphic and recognizable parrot—a symbol of longevity—to reflect the life-long relationships users can develop with the help of the app.
